Also, fun fact. Apparently I now speak random chunks of upstate New York english. Ex: the words “text message” are now two clear and distinct words instead of “texmessedge”.
Last night I was lucky enough to spend the evening with one of my best guy friends in the world!! I haven’t seen him in quite some time, so we caught up for lost time. Exciting discoveries of the evening:
1.) I now know how to break into a motel room. You know, in case of emergencies.
2.) Sharing is caring, except when it comes to scones from Pannikin. Then it is necessary to order multiple baked goods.
3.) There is no way to have a frozen margarita without getting a brain freeze when hanging out with one’s good friends. Largely, because if one laughs while sipping the aforementioned margarita, you will drink to much at once and then well…
4.) Food fights are more classy with chips.
5.) When the red tide comes into San Diego, the waves will glow in the dark. So will the sand when you run around on it. (best adventure ever)
Long story short, I’m so happy I got to see him!! Soon, he and his girlfriend will be off to Italy, and I hope that they have an amazing time!!
